DESCRIPTION:Are you considering going abroad for a research stay during you
 r PhD? Doctoral students at the University of Basel have the opportunity t
 o apply for financial support for a research stay as part of the Doc.Mobil

 octoral-Candidates/Mobility-Grants.html]. The next application deadline is
  March 1\, 2025. The Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (GS
 -HSS) is hosting an orientation event to provide essential information abo
 ut the program and to clarify questions such as the following:\\r\\n 	How 
 does a research stay with Doc.Mobility@unibas affect my employment at the 
 University of Basel - will my contracts be extended? Will the salary payme
 nt be discontinued and replaced by the mobility contributions? 	In what fo
 rm will the contributions be paid (fixed amount per month\, total amount i
 n advance\, reimbursement on account...)? 	Are there plans to continue the
  program after 2025? 	How flexibly can the contribution be used? Is it pos
 sible to apply for funding more than once during my doctorate (e.g. 2x 6 m
 onths instead of 1x 12 months)? \\r\\nThe main language of the event is En
 glish\, although questions in German are also welcome.\\r\\nStructure of t
