Admission and matriculation
The requirements for admission to a continuing education degree program are governed by the respective degree program regulations. Matriculation as a continuing education student is subject to the regulations of the University of Basel's Student regulations and to the Regulations for continuing education studies at the University of Basel.
Academic achievements and degrees
The formats of continuing education courses are standardized at Swiss universities. They differ in terms of the duration and scope of the studies and the academic achievements to be completed by the students:
- Master of Advanced Studies (MAS, at least 60 credit points)
- Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS, at least 30 credit points)
- Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS, at least 10 credit points)
