IT Service Center (ITSC)
Each facility has local contacts, so-called IT Service Centers (ITSC). The ITSCs are IT service teams that primarily provide basic IT services at the University of Basel on a geographical basis and across organizational unit boundaries, as well as other IT services on a case-by-case basis. These IT Service Centers are the primary point of contact for all members and co-workers of the University of Basel units they serve with regard to the procurement and support of hardware and software.
The following ITSCs are responsible for the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences:
The ITSC-PG supports the following units of the Faculty:
- Department of Ancient Civilizations
- Department of Arts, Media, Philosophy
- eikones - Center for the Theory and History of the Image
The ITSC-PG 2 is responsible for the following units of the Faculty:
- Department of History
- Department of Social Sciences
- Department of Languages and Literature
- Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Dean's Office
- Center for Jewish Studies
