About the lecture
What is the task of philosophy? What is its essential function in the conversation of humanity? What distinguishes philosophers from scientists and artists, the awakened or the awakened?
Taking up Nietzsche and Foucault, the speaker presents a new understanding of philosophy that promises an exit from the self-generated immaturities and labyrinths of today's, especially academically narrow, philosophizing.
About the speaker
Wolfram Eilenberger is Senior Fellow at the St.Gallen Collegium, HSG, and presenter of the SRF program Sternstunde Philosophie.
