A position as Professor in English linguistics with a focus on English as a lingua franca in the digital age is to be filled at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Basel beginning on February 1, 2027 or by appointment with the successful applicant.

Depending on the qualifications of the person to be appointed, the position is filled as a Tenure Track Assistant Professor (TTAP), an Associate Professor or a Full Professor.
