At the University of Basel, students are required to register for all courses they wish to attend. This means that you must register for the courses in advance. If you do not register, you will not be able to take part in the performance assessments and therefore cannot earn any credit points. You will receive an information sheet on this before each semester.

You can register online via the Self Services web application. After the official enrolment deadline, enrolment is only possible upon request and for a fee of CHF 100. You can find all further information about course registration here.

The results of the performance assessments are recorded in the system by the lecturers responsible and forwarded to you by e-mail. The corresponding credit points will be shown on the next transcript of records.
