Management & Administration
The Managing Director is employed by the Dean's Office with the cooperation of the President’s Board and reports directly to the Dean. He coordinates the business of the Dean's Office, the Faculty Board and the Faculty Assembly, supports the Deans in particular in matters of academic organization, business management and legal issues and heads the Dean's Office administration.
The tasks of the Managing Director include in particular
- the preparation of basic material as part of the decision-making processes of the faculty boards and committees,
- participation in the budget, financial and structural planning of the faculty,
- controlling in collaboration with the departments,
- coordinating administrative business between the faculty and the departments, and
- ensuring the efficient organization and smooth implementation of the faculty's administrative processes,
- responsibility for managing the Dean's Office's spatial and technical infrastructure, including security measures.
